SVET and the Founder’s Ideology
SVET is the brain child of the versatile South Indian actor Dr. M. Mohan Babu, who is also an ace film Producer and former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) in the year 1992. Progressing positively, in the year 1993, he had materialised his objective of delivering quality education to the young minds and educating the people of backward region in Raylseema. Supporting the deserving students and providing quality education has always been his motto, to which he added financial assistance to students irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region. His inspiration is the source of energy for SVET and its students.
Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing has been sanctioned by the AP State Government, approved by AP Nursing Council and Recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. It is affiliated by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. G.O’s given below.

We possess the core academic competency and have a strong vision forward, we feel that it is our responsibility to provide primary Health Care to the community by striving to establish and establish a centre of excellence for those looking to pursue higher education in Nursing. Our focus on creative and analytical approach to the solution of problems in Nursing Practice and Education and to develop cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies required for providing Primary Health Care scientifically and independently to the individuals, families and the community at large, have worked in our favour to establish this centre of learning.
The trust and its pillars of support
The Trust sponsors Sree Vidyanikethan International School, Degree College, Post Graduate College, Engineering College, Pharmacy College and Nursing College with a total strength of about 10,000+ students and 750 staff members. All the trust institutions have pure reputation in identifying itself as a premier chain of educational institutions in the state and have successfully carved a name in the field of education.
Our trust campus spreads over an area of 175 acres with sylvan surroundings, just 14 kms away from the Temple Town of Tirupati on the National High way no. 205 between Tirupati – Madanapalli. The trust is known to provide free education to the poorest of the poor irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
